Don't Peek Chicken

Makes 4 to 6 Servings


1 1/2 cups Minute® White Rice
2 Tbsps butter or margarine, melted
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of celery soup
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 pkg (2 oz.) dry onion soup mix
8 bone-in chicken pieces


  • Preheat oven to 300°F.
  • In a 9x13-inch baking pan, combine the melted butter and rice and spread over bottom of pan.
  • In a medium saucepan combine the soups and wine and heat through. Pour over rice and spread evenly. Lay the chicken pieces on top of the soup mixture and sprinkle dry soup mix over chicken.
  • Cover with foil and bake 2 hours.
  • * SUBSTITUTE chicken broth or water for 1/4 cup of dry white wine.
