Barbecue Rice and Beans

Makes 6 Servings


1 onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, diced
1 Tbsp oil
1 can (15 1/4 oz.) kidney beans, drained
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 cube beef bouillon
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 cups Minute® White Rice, uncooked


  • COOK and stir onion and pepper in hot oil in saucepan until tender but not browned.
  • STIR in beans, water, barbecue sauce, bouillon cube and garlic powder. Bring to boil.
  • STIR in rice; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork.
