Easy Italian Sausage and Rice Soup

bulk Italian sausage

garlic powder

(14 1/2 oz.) chicken broth

can
(15 oz.) Italian-style diced tomatoes

White Rice

fresh baby spinach leaves
1/4
cup
Parmesan cheese, shredded
Directions
IN medium nonstick saucepan, brown the sausage with garlic powder; stirring to break into small pieces.
ADD chicken broth and tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in rice; cover let stand 5 minutes.
ADD spinach and stir until spinach is wilted, about 1 minute.
REMOVE from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.
