Black Bean and Rice Soup

(15 oz. each) black beans, undrained, divided

water

fresh oregano leaves

tsp
garlic powder

tsps
hot pepper sauce

, uncooked
Directions
PLACE 1-1/2 cans of the beans with liquid in blender container; cover. Blend until smooth. Pour into large saucepan.
STIR in remaining beans, water, oregano, garlic powder and hot pepper sauce. Bring to boil.
STIR in rice. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 5 minutes. Spoon into individual serving bowls.
