Ingredients

1 boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 red bell peppers, cut into chunks
2 zucchini, cut into 1-inch slices
1 red onion, cut into wedges
1/4 lb whole mushrooms
12 metal or wooden skewers
1 cup whipped salad dressing
1 cup Italian dressing
3 cups Minute® White Rice, cooked

Directions

  • PREHEAT grill to medium-high heat. Alternately arrange meat and vegetables on skewers. Mix dressings.
  • PLACE kabobs on grill; brush with the dressing mixture.
  • GRILL 10 to 15 minutes or until steak is cooked through, turning over after 8 minutes. Serve with the rice. Makes 6 servings, 2 skewers each.
  • Use Your Broiler: Assemble kabobs as directed; place on rack of broiler pan. Brush with the dressing mixture. Broil, 5 to 7 inches from heat, 10 to 15 minutes or until steak is cooked through, turning over after 8 minutes.
  • Prepare as directed, substituting boneless skinless chicken breast halves for the steak and/or using sandwich spread light dressing.
  • How to Grill Kabobs: The key for making homemade kabobs it to cut the meat and/or vegetables into equal-sized pieces. Then, insert the kabob pieces on flat-bladed metal skewers as desired. Or, if using wooden skewers soak them in water first to prevent them from burning. When grilling the kabobs, use long-handled grilling tongs to rotate the kabobs to ensure even cooking on all sides.
