Burger Skillet

Makes 4 Servings


4 (4 oz. each) frozen hamburger patties
2 cups red, yellow, or green pepper strips
1 jar (24 oz.) pasta sauce
1/2 cup water
1 Tbsp chili powder
2 cups Minute® White Rice, uncooked
1 cup shredded low moisture part skim Mozzarella Cheese


  • Cook hamburger patties in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 10 minutes. Flip hamburger patties; add peppers. Cook until hamburger patties are cooked through and peppers are crisp-tender, stirring peppers occasionally.
  • Add spaghetti sauce, water and chili powder. Bring to boil.
  • Stir in rice; cover. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 5 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
