Creamy Brown Rice Pudding

Try this rice pudding made with whole grain brown rice!

1 cup Minute® Brown Rice, uncooked
1 1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, nutmeg or allspice
fresh mint leaves (optional)


  • Prepare rice according to package directions.
  • Combine rice, milk and maple syrup in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat, and stir in butter and cinnamon. Garnish with additional cinnamon and mint leaves, if desired.
