Cheeseburger Rice

1 lb lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cups water
1 cup ketchup
1 Tbsp prepared yellow mustard
2 cups Minute® White Rice, uncooked
1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded


  • BROWN meat and onion in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain.
  • ADD water, ketchup and mustard. Bring to boil.
  • STIR in rice. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 min. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min. Stir. Makes 4 servings.
  • Garnish with chopped tomatoes and green onions just before serving. Serve with a mixed green salad for added color and texture.
