Fast and Flavorful Rice Skillet Dinner

Makes 4 Servings


1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 lb beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
1 cup Minute® White Rice, uncooked
1 cup beef broth
1 can (8 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
chopped fresh parsley (optional)


  • Heat oil in a medium pan over medium heat. Add meat and cook until no longer pink.
  • Add broth and bring to a boil. Stir in rice and mushrooms. Cover; let stand 5 minutes.  If desired, garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve.
  • Add-in possibilities: 1 cup of chopped red or green bell pepper, 1 cup of whole kernel corn.  Spice it up ...  add one tablespoon of minced fresh ginger and one tablespoon of curry powder.
