Smothered Steaks and Bell Peppers

2 cups Minute® White Rice or Minute® Brown Rice
4 beef cube steaks (about 5 oz each)
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
1/2 cup green bell pepper, seeded and sliced
1/2 cup red bell pepper, seeded and sliced
1 onion, sliced
2 Tbsps all purpose flour
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 Tbsps parsley, chopped


  • PREPARE rice according to package directions. While rice is cooking, sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper. Brown steaks in hot oil in large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes on each side or until done; remove and keep warm.
  • SAUTÉ onions and bell peppers in same skillet.
  • BLEND together flour, soy sauce and 1 cup water; pour over onions and bell peppers. Cook and stir until sauce boils and thickens. Spoon over steaks; sprinkle with parsley. Serve with rice.
